Sun signs C&W for 11 million sq. ft. facility management contract
Sun Microsystems has hired New York-based Cushman & Wakefield Inc. to manage its 11 million sq. ft. office and industrial portfolio. The contract is effective Oct. 1.

Under the agreement, Cushman & Wakefield will provide a full spectrum of facilities management services — including a call center, site management, preventative maintenance, engineering, health safety maintenance and energy managemnt — for 220 buildings.
The contract includes office campuses in Burlington, Mass., Broomfield, Colo.; Santa Clara, Calif.; and Beaverton, Ore., as well as flex offices in Georgia, Minnesota, Washington, Ohio, North Carolina, Arizona and Michigan.
