The network links industry with universities, research parks and institutions, capital networks and economic development organizations. Global Advantage and its partners help companies respond quickly to high-tech business opportunities around the world by providing local market information, university connections, technology transfer, incubation programs and professional services. The aim is to create a competitive advantage and stimulate regional economies through high-tech exports. Founding members include Tucson, Ariz., where the university is based, Ottawa, Berlin, and Manchester, England.
