Hundreds of New Stores Planned for 2011 (Friday's News & Notes)

We seem to be finally getting to a point where store opening announcements outnumber announcements of closings and liquidations. Family Dollar has revealed it plans to double its annual store growth to 300 locations. Japanese apparel retailer Uniqlo reportedly wants to open 200 U.S. locations.
