Two CBRE Brokers Move to Cushman & Wakefield and JRT

Two CB Richard Ellis brokers have moved to rival firms. Steven Strati, formerly a senior vice president and leasing broker at CBRE, is now a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield’s Midtown Manhattan office. Meanwhile, CBRE broker Melissa Bazar has left the firm to join JRT, a strategic alliance partner of Cushman & Wakefield. She was formerly a senior vice president at CBRE and will become executive director of JRT.

"Steven brings to Cushman & Wakefield the intense New York real estate expertise and professionalism that our clients expect," says Ken Krasnow, senior managing director and head of the firm’s New York offices. "He is the type of person we know will fit right in and thrive at our firm."

During his tenure with CBRE, Strati was consistently one of the firm’s leading brokers. In 1999 and 2001, he was recognized for his production as one of the firm’s top 3% of brokers globally, a highly respected designation.

"We are thrilled to welcome such distinguished, talented executives to JRT, and are equally proud that they have chosen JRT as the platform of choice from which to continue their success in the commercial real estate industry," says Jodi Pulice, founder and president of JRT.

Clients Bazar has represented include Allen & Overy, Computer Associates, Schroders, Pharmacia, Cablevision and Equitable Life Insurance. Before entering real estate, she was an investment banker, specializing in tax-exempt and municipal underwriting.
