Brokerage network TCN Worldwide has partnered with a sustainability advisor to add green counseling to its service offerings. Based in Plano, Texas, TCN Worldwide has begun offering sustainability services through its alliance with GreenPoint Partners, including energy audits, solar installations, efficiency retrofits, and LEED certification.

TCN Worldwide is made up of independent commercial real estate firms. The alliance gives the consortium’s more than 1,200 commercial real estate professionals across four continents access to GreenPoint’s training, resources, and sustainability consultants.

Together, the companies will pursue green building initiatives that increase cash flow and reduce environmental impact for TCN’s clients.

“Commercial real estate consumes nearly two-thirds of electricity in the U.S., and a third of the total energy,” says Ross Ford, president and CEO of TCN Worldwide.

“Energy is on everyone’s radar right now,” says Ford. “Demand for green space is increasing, and our clients need guidance to help them navigate a complex landscape of incentives, laws, technologies, and opportunities.”

TCN Worldwide has more than 80 million sq. ft. of commercial space under management in more than 200 markets globally.
