The Headquarters Unveils Five Restaurant Tenants

SAN DIEGO—Terramar Retail Centers has disclosed the restaurants that will be part of the $40 million adaptive re-use and renovation of the Old Police Headquarters. Now dubbed The Headquarters, the 100,000-sq.-ft. retail, dining and entertainment destination will include Pizzeria Mozza, The Cheesecake Factory, Puesto, Eddie V’s, and Seasons 52.

“Great food is at the core of great destinations.  Our team was creative and selective in attracting the right blend of dining for The Headquarters,” said Steve Bowers, CEO of Terramar Retail Centers. “This collection creates a casually sophisticated destination for San Diego residents and visitors.”

The Hollywood-based Pizzeria Mozza will move into the San Diego market for the first time, taking 4,350 sq. ft. in the project. The restaurant will contain an open kitchen, wine bar, patio dining and two private dining rooms.

This 4,500-sq.-ft. Puesto location will be the area’s second, but the first full-service restaurant. Thomas Schoos will design the facility, which will include the traditional taco line as well as a full service bar, dining room and living room. Puesto also plans to introduce two new drinks to the menu, only available at this location.

The Cheescake Factory will occupy 10,400 sq. ft. while Eddie V.’s takes 7,500 sq. ft. and Seasons 52 occupies 9,900 sq. ft.

With restaurants secured, the leasing team is now working on pulling together a mix of shops and boutiques to take up the retail space.
