Gibson Dunn Extends Large Lease at Wells Fargo Tower

LOS ANGELES—Law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP has extended its 268,000-sq.-ft. lease at Wells Fargo Tower in the Bunker Hill area of downtown.

The company negotiated a five-year lease extension with MPG Office Trust Inc., owner of the 1.4-million-sq.ft. tower. The lease now expires in November 2022.

David Weinstein, president and CEO of MPG, said the tenant’s request for an early lease extension is a testament to their commitment to downtown Los Angeles. “We are delighted that they will continue to maintain one of their largest offices at Wells Fargo Tower through 2022.”

Wells Fargo is the other anchor in the tower, occupying 362,000 sq. ft. In addition to Wells Fargo Tower, MPG also owns and controls over four million sq. ft. at properties such as KPMG Tower, US Bank Tower, Gas Co. Tower and 777 Tower.
