GSA Signs Lease for Secret Service

CHICAGOThe Government Services Administration (GSA) has signed a 76,200-sq.-ft. lease at 525 W. Van Buren in Chicago.

Sara Spicklemire, vice president of leasing for MB Real Estate and leasing agent for the 16-story West Loop high-rise, represented building ownership in lease negotiations. The GSA was self-represented in the lease transaction.

The GSA leased the space for the offices of the Secret Service, which will occupy part of the property’s seventh floor and the entire eighth and ninth floors.

“525 W. Van Buren offers column-free, 34,000 square foot floor plates with great views,” said Spicklemire. “As a result the space not only lends itself to efficient layouts, but also brings an abundance of natural light to the environment.”
