Englewood Construction Completes Seven Projects Throughout the Midwest and Texas

CHICAGO—Englewood Construction said its interiors team has recently completed seven projects, including six in the Midwest and one in Texas.

“This has been a good year so far for Englewood and we are pleased to continue to turn out quality projects for top-name national brands in the restaurant, retail and education sector,” Englewood Construction President William Di Santo said in a statement. “Our clients know that we deliver efficient, consistent results and that our thousands of relationships nationwide can produce quality work in hundreds of metro areas.”

The recent completions span geographically across four Midwestern states and one major Texas market. The work ranged from tenant improvement projects to remodeling.

In the largest transaction, Englewood transformed a former daycare facility into a KinderCare in Brooklyn Park, Minn. The firm remodeled the 15,000-sq.-ft. property to supply the amenities and branding synonymous with Kinder Care.

In Chicago, the firm recently completed three projects. At the Landmark Century Mall in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, Englewood did prep work for the shopping center landlord in anticipation of a new 10,531-sq.-ft. CVS store. At Water Tower Place on North Michigan Avenue, the firm completed tenant improvement work for Little Miss Matched as the retailer moved to a larger, 1,200-sq.-ft. space on the vertical shopping mall’s second floor. And in preparation for the 2012 NATO Conference hosted at McCormick Place in downtown Chicago, Englewood completed tenant improvements for a 2,000-sq.-ft. Jamba Juice at the convention center.

Restaurant chain Red Lobster tapped Englewood to remodel its 6,719-sq.-ft. location in Mentor, Ohio. Because of the sensitivity of the restaurant’s business and as a courtesy to its customers, most of the work was completed at night.

Finally, Englewood completed two tenant improvement projects for See’s Candy, the popular San Francisco-based confectioner: a 1,487-sq.-ft. location in Frisco, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas; and a 1,157-sq.-ft. location at the Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa, Wis.
