Harbor Freight Tools Signs Lease at Bricktown Square in Chicago

CHICAGO—Calif.-based Harbor Freight Tools has signed a lease to occupy 20,000 sq. ft. of space at Bricktown Square in Chicago.

Mid-America Asset Management Inc., based in Oakbrook Terrace, represents the center and its Vice President Mary Beth Menelli-Iveljic and Senior Leasing Representative Jaime Platt represented the landlord in the lease. The tenant was represented by Branson Edwards of Grubb & Ellis.

Founded in 1977, Harbor Freight Tools is a discount tool retailer in the U.S. The company has more than 400 stores, with six in Chicago area.

Located at the northwest corner of Fullerton and Narragansett Avenues in Chicago, Bricktown Square totals 277,489 sq. ft. of space. Anchors at the complex include Sport Authority, Babies ‘R’ Us and XSport Fitness.
