NOVI, MI—Lodging Capital Partners LLC, based in Chicago, has hired Philadelphia-based HHM to manage the Sheraton Detroit Novi hotel.
The 238-key hotel has 16 meeting rooms and a 9,000-sq.-ft. ballroom that holds 1,000 people. Lodging Capital and HHM plan to renovate all guestrooms and public spaces in the next several months. The hotel is located just north of Eight Mile Road along Interstate 275, in a strong commercial part of Novi, a northern suburb of Detroit.
"This property is ideal for our expansion into the Midwest,” said Michael Murray, COO of HHM. “We now have greater opportunity to capitalize on our proprietary revenue management platform and utilize the strength of our national sales team.”
HHM was formerly known as Hersha Hospitality Management. The company operates 115 hotels across the United States.
