Opus Finishes, Sells Warehouse to Maxzone

WEST DUNDEE, IL—The Opus Group has completed a 223,488-sq.ft. build-to-suit warehouse for Maxzone Vehicle Lighting Corp. here in the Oakview Corporate Park.

Maxzone has purchased the building from Opus, and plans to move in after April. The facility includes 3,000 square feet of office space, 20 truck docks, two drive-in doors and ample parking for employees and customers.

Mike Yungerman, vice president of real estate development with Opus Development Co. LLC, said it took less than four months to construct the facility. “Maxzone required a very tight delivery timeframe, and our design-build team was able to complete construction just 100 days from breaking ground,” Yungerman said.

Noel Liston with Darwin Realty and Development Corp. represented Opus and Eric Chang of US Asia Group represented Maxzone in the transaction.
