Mid-America Real Estate Completes Sale of Metropolitan Place Retail Shops in Chicago

CHICAGOSt. Louis-based Bianco Properties has acquired Metropolitan Place Retail Shops in Chicago from Syndicated Equities for an undisclosed sales price.

Mid-America Real Estate Corporation Principal Ben Wineman and Investment Associate Heather Rink exclusively represented the seller in the transaction. The buyer represented itself.

Currently 100 percent leased, Metropolitan Place Retail Shops spans 21,000 sq. ft. of street-level retail space within Metropolitan Place, a 10-story residential building in downtown Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. The property is located on the northwest corner of Canal and Adams Streets, nearby Union Station and Ogilvie Transportation Center.

Current tenants include CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks and Jimmy John’s, among others.
