The Opus Group Announces Industrial Build-to-Suit Contract with Maxzone Vehicle Lighting Corporation

CHICAGOMaxzone Vehicle Lighting Corporation has tapped Opus Development Corporation to develop and construct a 223,488-sq.-ft., build-to-suit industrial warehouse in West Dundee, Ill.

Broker representatives for this transaction were Eric Chang with U.S. Asia Investment Group on behalf of Maxzone, and Noel Liston from Darwin Reality and Development Corporation representing The Opus Group.

Located on 11.3 acres in the Oakview Corporate Park, the facility will include 3,000 sq. ft. of office space, 20 truck docks, two drive-in doors and parking for employees and customers.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to work with Maxzone and to develop and construct one of the few build-to-suit projects in Chicago this year,” said Mike Yungerman, vice president of real estate development with Opus Development Corporation.

Construction will begin this month with building completion slated for the end of the year. Opus Development Corporation will construct the facility and Opus AE Group is the architect of record.
