Steak Escape Takes Up Residence in Arena District

OHIO—Columbus-based Steak Escape will open a new, 1,852-sq.-ft. location at 401 Front Street in the Arena District. The space was formerly occupied by W.G. Grinders.

According to Steak Escape’s Vice President of Development Jeff Fix, the Arena District’s restaurant will represent an updated version of the eatery.

“Our latest restaurant format will allow our guests to enjoy the same quality and offerings that they have come to love while benefiting from faster service, lower prices and the option of an expanded menu featuring healthy choices,” said Fix.

When the Arena District Steak Escape opens this fall, it will be the second new format to open. The first of its kind is scheduled to open in New Albany on July 25.

The Arena District is a $750 million, 75-acre mixed-use development located in downtown Columbus. The Arena District includes more than 1.5 million sq. ft. of office, restaurants, entertainment and residential uses.
