Two Magnificent Mile Retailers Renew Commitment at 645 North Michigan Ave.

CHICAGO—Retailers Salvatore Ferragamo and Ermengildo Zegna have renewed their leases at 645 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Both retailers are expanding their existing ground-floor leases to include the second floor of the building in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.

Brian Feil and Ken Hanson represented The Feil Organization; Robert H. Gibson of Cushman & Wakefield represented Salvatore Ferragamo; Joan Siegel of Siegel Consultants, Ltd. represented Ermenegildo Zegna. Thomas R. Field of Edwards, Wildman, Palmer LLP provided legal representation for Feil; Richard Berney of Cozen O'Connor represented Salvatore Ferragamo; Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton represented Ermenegildo Zegna.

The retailers have been mainstays at the property since 1997.

Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A. is the parent company of the Salvatore Ferragamo Group, a luxury goods grand with origins to 1927. The group creates, produces and sells shoes, leather goods, clothing silk products as well as women and men's perfumes. The company includes more than 3,000 employees and a network of 590 single-brand stores.

Ermenegildo Zegna was founded in 1910 and today is a producer of fine fabrics as well as tailored and ready-to-wear men’s suits, accessories, shoes and more. The company has 557 stores spanning 87 countries.

Built in 1962, 645 North Michigan Avenue is an11-story building located at East Erie Street in Chicago's Magnificent Mile, a 13-block stretch with premier shopping, dining, landmarks, hotels and entertainment venues. Owned by New York-based investment groups 645 North Michigan L.L.C. and Nakash 645 North Michigan L.L.C., the building is managed by The Feil Organization, also based in New York City.
