Rockefeller Group Completes 325,000-SF Office Building for BASF at The Green at Florham Park

NEW JERSEY–The Rockefeller Group has completed a 325,000-sq.-ft. office building located at The Green in Florham Park. The facility will serve as BASF’s North American headquarters. Since 2004, BASF has been located in Florham Park at an adjacent property.

Construction of the new facility began in July 2010 and is designed to achieve LEED double Platinum certification and will be the largest office building in the state with this certification.

The Green at Florham Park is a 268-acre master planned sustainable development designed to accommodate more than 800,000 sq. ft. of office space, a full-service hotel, a residential community and the 27-acre site that is the home of the Atlantic Health New York Jets Training Center.

The Green at Florham Park and the new BASF building includes such sustainable features as reduced interior water usage by at least 40 percent and outdoor water consumption by 85 percent; superior indoor air quality, energy consumption reduced by more than 20 percent; and at least 20 percent of the materials purchased for the project have recycled content.
