Allergan Takes 93,000SF at Somerset Corporate Center

NEW JERSEY—Allergan Inc. has signed a 93,000-sq.-ft. lease at Somerset Corporate Center II located in Bridgewater. The move is expected to inject as much as $12 million of private investment into the state’s economy as well as create several hundred new jobs over the next few years.

Owned by SJP Properties, Somerset Corporate Center II was represented in-house in the transaction; Allergan was represented by CBRE Senior Vice Presidents Kurt Burdick, Carolyn Sica and Chip Wright.

Part of the Somerset Corporate Center, Somerset Corporate Center II totals 250,000 sq. ft. and offers direct access to Interstates 78 and 287, Routes 202/206, as well as proximity to Newark International Airport and New York City. Also located nearby are hotels and conference center, the Bridgewater Commons Mall, restaurants, golf courses and more.

The property was awarded Energy Star recognition and is registered with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), which is the path to seeking LEED Existing Building–Operating & Maintenance certification.

Tenants at the building include Juniper Networks, Qualcomm and Merrill Lynch, among others.

Somerset Corporate Center is comprised of five buildings. Amenities within the campus include a 15-acre park, which includes private gardens for each building, fountains and seating.

Allergan is a global healthcare company with approximately 10,000 employees spanning more than 100 countries worldwide.
