CBRE Completes Sale of Former American National Can Building

NEW JERSEY—Niki International Inc., a textile company, has completed its disposition of 925 Georges Road in South Brunswick, N.J. CBRE’s Lou Belfer and Scott Belfer, both senior vice presidents, represented the seller. Managing Director Joel Lubin of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the buyer.

Known formerly as the American National Can building, the property is a 141,000-sq.-ft. industrial manufacturing warehouse situated on 30 acres that was previously used for Niki International’s textile business.

The new ownership plans to use the property for industrial purposes.

“The building will be extensively modernized and improved,” said Scott Belfer. “In today’s manufacturing industry, all the amenities offered in this building, such as the 30-to-40-foot-high ceilings and heavy power and rail capabilities, are necessary, making this building a desirable property for any business in that industry.”
