CIS Ranked Among State's Top Multifamily Owners

LAWRENCEVILLE—Community Investment Strategies Inc. has been named one of the top multi-family unit owners in New Jersey. The ranking was compiled based on data provided by the New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA).

Specializing in multi-family housing, including 55+, senior housing and mixed-use redevelopments, as well as market-rate and affordable housing, CIS develops a broad spectrum of properties, ranging from garden apartments to mid- and hi-rise complexes. The company’s portfolio, which is managed by its affiliate CIS Management Inc., is valued in excess of $350 million and includes more than 2,000 apartment-rental units located in New Jersey.

Within the past 12 to 18 months, CIS has added to its inventory of multi-family units with the completion and leasing of several new communities. These include Heritage Village at Seabreeze, a 100-unit active-adult rental community in Lacey Township; 71 units at Waters Edge Crescent in Elizabeth; Whitney Crescent, an 80-unit apartment-rental community in Glassboro; the supportive housing apartment residence known as Cape Manor in Cape May; and The Oaks at Weatherby, an 86-unit apartment-rental community in Woolwich Township.
