Fair Lawn Promenade Construction Now Underway

NEW JERSEY—Garden Homes Development and Garden Commercial Properties have begun construction on Fair Lawn Promenade, a mixed-use, town center-style development that, when complete, will consist of 150 rental apartments and 63,000 sq. ft. of retail and office space.

Upon delivery, the development, designed by Appel Design Group and Rotwein + Blake Architects, will include two residential buildings, one with 104 units and another with 46 units, with four stories each over a ground-level parking garage.

Residents will have a choice of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, including great rooms, large closets and private balconies in each unit. Building features include reserved garage-level parking, elevator service, modern security-intercom systems, and attended lobbies.

Occupancy is expected by the fall of 2013.

In addition to its residential component, Fair Lawn Promenade will include three commercial buildings with a total of 30,000 sq. ft. of office space and 33,000 sq. ft. of street-level retail space. Garden Commercial also plans to add solar panels and a rain garden to the project.

Located on Route 208 Northbound in Fair Lawn, the project is located within walking distance of N.J. Transit’s Radburn train station, servicing the Main/Bergen-Port Jervis commuter rail line.
