NEW JERSEY—Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet has leased 8,500 sq. ft. of space at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung, N.J. The freestanding restaurant is slated to open early next year.
Michael Weisberg of Weisberg Commercial Real Estate represented Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet in the long-term lease. Levin Management serves as the property’s leasing and management agent.
“Two dozen retailers call Blue Star Shopping Center home,” Michael Cohen, Levin Management’s vice president of leasing said. “This property has been the area’s leading retail property for more than 50 years, and restaurants are attracted by its visibility and excellent daily consumer traffic.”
Totaling 419,000 sq. ft. of space, Blue Star Shopping Center is anchored by Kohl's, ShopRite, Marshalls, Michaels and Toys "R" Us. Other tenants at the property include Mandee, Radio Shack, GNC and Petco, among others.
