Hill International/Impulso JV Selected to Manage Renovation of UN Office Complex in Geneva

NEW JERSEY—Marlton, N.J.-based Hill International, a construction risk manager, and its joint venture Impulso Industrial Alternativeo SA, has received a contract to provide program management services for a renovation of an office complex for the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) complex serves primarily as a conference center and includes 34 conference rooms and 2,800 offices for 4,000 staff members. In total, the complex includes 1.8 million sq. ft. and is situated in a 115-acre park.

Following completion of the planning and design phases, construction will begin in 2015 with an anticipated completion date by 2023.

Impulso is a company supplying professional services on an international level and specializes in industrial, civil, geological and mining engineering, architecture and consulting services. Hill International, with 110 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management and construction claims and consulting services.
