Hill International Wins $4.4M Contract to Manage Water, Wastewater Project in Romania

NEW JERSEY—Hill International, a construction risk management company based in Marlton, has received a contract from S.C. Aquarcaras S.A. to provide design management and construction supervision services in connection with the modernization of water and wastewater infrastructure throughout Caras Severin County in Romania.

The contract, which spans three-and-a-half years, has an estimated value of $4.4 million.

The entire project, estimated to cost $117.5 million, includes the modernization of more than 76 miles of water infrastructure and more than 115 miles of wastewater infrastructure. Hill will supervise the execution of design and construction contracts associated with the program.

"This water and wastewater infrastructure modernization program will greatly improve the quality of life for residents in Caras Severin County," said Raouf S. Ghali, president of Hill's project management group.

Hill International has 110 offices worldwide and 3,300 employees involved in program, project and construction management, construction claims and consulting services.
