LaserShip Expands Locations in N.J., NYC

NEW JERSEYVienna, Va.-based LaserShip has transferred its New York and New Jersey operations into larger locations in order to optimize the company’s delivery efficiency.

In New York, LaserShip has opened a new location in Queens, allowing the company to better serve the boroughs and Long Island. The building provides a more efficient structure for the company as well as loading space.

In New Jersey, the company moved its operations to East Rutherford where it occupies a 23,000-sq.-ft. distribution space, which offers loading docks, security and additional office space.

"The ability to conduct loading indoors will reduce defects in transit and increase sort speed, allowing us to significantly increase productivity, just in time for peak volume," said Josh Dinesen, vice president of supply chain.

Founded in 1986, LaserShip is a regional parcel carrier that facilitates last-mile delivery for reduced transit times, greater flexibility and decreased costs.
