Levin Closes Nearly 400,000 SF of Transactions Throughout N.J. Portfolio

NEW JERSEY—Levin Management has closed more than two dozen lease transactions totaling approximately 395,639 sq. ft. at shopping centers throughout its retail portfolio.

Included in these transactions are:

• 8,500 sq. ft. for Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet at Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung. In addition, Marshall’s renewed its 27,000-sq.-ft. commitment at the center, which totals 419,000 sq. ft. and is located on Route 22 at Bonnie Burn Road. Blue Star is anchored by Kohl’s ShopRite, Michaels and Toys ‘R’ Us.

• At Capitol Plaza in Ewing, Allied Health Nursing School expanded from 8,376 to 30,000 sq. ft. and Rainbow apparel renewed its 7,872-sq.-ft. lease. Anchors at the 356,845-sq.-ft. property include Marshall’s, Forman Mills, Harbor Freight Tools, Planet Fitness and Save-A-Lot Supermarket.

• 7,625 sq. ft. for Somerset Tire Service, which renewed its lease at the 284,000-sq.-ft. West Orange Plaza in West Orange. Whole Foods, Kmart and Staples anchor the property, located on Prospect and Eagle Rock Avenues.
