NEW JERSEY—River Drive Construction, an Elmwood Park, N.J.-based construction company, and GBC Corp., a Paterson, N.J.-based general contracting company, have completed construction on two new restaurants for Darden Restaurants. River Drive Construction and GBC Corp. shared the general contractor responsibilities on the projects.
The first project includes a Longhorn Steak House restaurant in the Gloucester County township of Deptford, N.J. Located at 1440 Almonesson Rd., the Longhorn Steakhouse project involved demolishing an existing restaurant and construction of a 6,200-sq.-ft. restaurant building in its place.
The second project was the completion of an Olive Garden restaurant in Clifton Park, N.Y. Located at 22 Clifton Country Rd. #79 in the Clifton Park Center mall, the project including the ground-up construction of a new 7,540-sq.-ft. facility.
The completion of these two projects marks the fifth and sixth projects that River Drive Construction has completed for Darden Restaurants since 2010.
