HACKENSACK—RKF recently secured retail space for Cosi at 360 Essex Street, between Summit Avenue and Prospect Avenue, for the chain's first location in Hackensack. Scheduled to open in April, the 2,913-sq.-ft. store will be located on the first floor of the 85,000-sq.-ft. Alfred N. Sanzari Medical Arts. Building.
RKF managing director Glenn Beyer represented the tenant, CRM Partners Inc. d/b/a Cosi, as well as the landlord, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
Founded in 1996, Cosi offers a menu of made-to-order flatbreads, salads, soups, bagels, flatbread pizza, gourmet beverages, and signature desserts. The restaurant chain features more than 100 restaurants in 16 states and the District of Columbia. Cosi currently has six other locations in New Jersey, including in Morristown, Livingston, Secaucus, Mt. Laurel and two restaurants in Jersey City.
