Russo Development Receives Approval for Somerset Technology Park
FRANKLIN Township—Russo Development has gained approval to build its ninth data center development in the New York metropolitan area.
The Greenfield site, located on 71 acres near Exit 12 off I-287, features a number of infrastructure improvements, including direct access to multi-sourced 69kV sub transmission electrical service from PSE&G, and direct connection to two sources of water providing unparalleled reliability for a chilled water solution. Russo Development’s in-house architects and engineering professionals designed the complex to meet the security needs of Russo’s niche clientele—proposed with enhanced berms and landscaping, with perimeter fencing that includes security gates with guard houses.
The facilities themselves will be LEED certified, which will help maximize efficiency for future tenants. This will be Russo’s third LEED-certified data center development in the region.
Russo Development expects to begin site development activities in early 2012.
