NEW JERSEY—The Solomon Organization has paid $16.6 million for Chesterfield Gardens in Freehold Township, N.J., a 172-unit garden-style apartment complex located at 210 Harding Road. Gebroe-Hammer Associates’ brokerage team of Joseph Brecher, managing director, and Steven Follman, vice president, arranged the transaction between the buyer and seller, Chesterfield Associates LLC.
Legal counsel was provided by J. Scott Anderson of Giordano, Halleran and Ciesla P.C. of Red Bank on behalf of the seller, and Alan R. Hammer of Brach Eichler LLC of Roseland for the buyer.
The two-story complex includes a mix of one- and two-bedroom units. Amenities include parking and on-site laundry facilities. Located near the Jersey Shore and routes 9, 18 and 33, the property is easily accessible from Newark and New York City.
