DKNY Opts for Early Long-Term Lease Renewal at Flagship 655 Madison Ave. Store

NEW YORK—Women’s retailer DKNY has renewed its long-term, 17,776-sq.-ft. lease at its flagship 655 Madison Ave. store. The renewal came before the company’s current lease expired and secures DKNY’s space through 2024.

Andrew H. Roos, vice chairman, and Michael T. Cohen, president, both of Colliers International represented the building ownership, Plaza Associates LLC in the transaction, while Principals Laura Pomerantz and John Brod of PBS Real Estate represented DKNY.

Located at the southwest corner of 60th Street, 655 Madison Avenue comprises 25 stories and is in close proximity to subway and bus lines and is adjacent to Central Park. The building recently underwent renovations that included the addition of a granite and glass façade, new lobby space, elevator cabs and mechanical systems. Other retail tenants in the building include Orianne Collins Jewelry and Anya-Hindmarch of London; office tenants include Este Lauder and Lowes Corporation as well as financial services firms.

DKNY is a luxury brand of Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey.
