Abbott Capital Management Relocates on Avenue of the Americas

NEW YORK—Abbott Capital Management has signed a 34,709-sq.ft. lease at 1290 Avenue of the Americas between 52nd and 53rd Streets. The company, a private equity investment firm, was previously located at 1211 Avenue of the Americas. In its new space, Abbot Capital Management will occupy space on the ninth floor.

JRT Realty Group Inc. John Thompson, senior director, represented the tenant in the transaction, while landlord Vornado, was represented by Franklin Speyer, Amy Fox, Michel Nahmais and Bruce Mosler of Cushman & Wakefield, a JRT strategic alliance partner.

The Class A office building totals more than 2 million sq. ft. and was built in 1963. Within the last year, 1290 Avenue of the Americas has undergone renovations. The property totals 43 floors plus two concourse levels.
