Blend Signs 4,284-SF Lease on Center Blvd.

NEW YORK—Long Island City mainstay since 2007, Blend, a Latin fusion restaurant, has signed a lease for 4,284 sq. ft. at 45-40 Center Boulevard. The new location is situated at the base of a newly constructed rental building, part of the waterfront residential complex constructed by developer TF Cornerstone. Scheduled to open in early 2013, the new storefront will replace Blend’s current location at 47-04 Vernon Boulevard, doubling the restaurant’s dining space and tripling the size of its kitchen area. Plans for the new space also include an outdoor seating area.

Winick Realty Group LLC’s President Steven E. Baker and Associate Director Joshua Singer represented both the owner, TF Cornerstone, and the tenant in the long-term lease transaction.

Other tenants at the complex include Crank Cycling Studio and Sweetleaf Coffee, among others.

TF Cornerstone is constructing two additional residential towers that, upon completion, will add nearly 20,000 square feet of retail to the Long Island City waterfront.
