Cervalis Commits to 167,691 Sq. Ft. at Newly Constructed 10 Norden Place

NEW YORK—Cervalis L.L.C. has signed a long-term lease with landlord FPG Norden DC L.L.C., a subsidiary of Fortis Property Group L.L.C., for a new 167,691-sq.-ft. data and disaster recovery center to be built in a Class A office building at 10 Norden Place in Norwalk, Conn.

The transaction is the largest in Fairfield County so far this year and is the largest build-to-suit in more than a decade.

Howard E. Greenberg, president of Howard Properties Ltd., White Plains, N.Y., in partnership with John Stoddard, vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle, Stamford, Conn. represented Cervalis. Jodie Dostal, senior director, Cushman & Wakefield of CT Inc., represented the landlord.

Founded in 2000, Cervalis is an IT infrastructure solutions provider.

With the new Norwalk data center, Cervalis’ operations centers will total more than 470,000 sq. ft. of space in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Its clients include emerging companies to Fortune 500 corporations, including financial services, insurance, health care/pharmaceuticals, government, education, utilities, energy, media/entertainment, manufacturing, transportation, retail and not-for-profit.
