Cohen Partners Takes Space on 40th Street

NEW YORK—Cohen Partners LLC has signed a new long-term lease at 104 West 40th Street, occupying approximately 3,858 sq. ft. on the property’s 10th floor.

Mike Movshovich, Neil King and Paul Amrich of CBRE represented the landlord, an affiliate of Savanna, while Robin Fisher and Taylor Scheinman of Newmark & Company Real Estate Inc. represented the tenant in this transaction.

104 West 40th Street is a Class A office building located next to Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan. The 210,000-sq.-ft., 20-story office building was acquired by Savanna in August 2010.

Since the acquisition, Savanna completed a full terrace on the 12,500-sq.-ft. 7th floor, and designed and completed the 19th floor prebuilt suite. In addition, Savanna has launched a significant capital program that includes upgrades to the building HVAC system and the building envelope, along with the installation of full building sprinkler infrastructure.
