NEWINGTON, CONN.—Davidson Company, a distributor of specialty, ethnic and kosher foods, has signed a long-term lease to occupy 120,544 sq. ft. of industrial/warehouse space at The Hampshire Companies’ 367 Alumni Road in Newington.

Chris Metcalfe and Bill Bronson of CBRE North East Partners represented The Hampshire Companies in the transaction. Davidson Company was represented by Ed Godin of Matthews Commercial Properties.

Located in close proximity to the Hartford metro area, 367 Alumni Road totals 616,278 sq. ft. of industrial/warehouse space and offers access to Interstates 84 and 91.

The property is newly renovated and features new roofing, an updated electrical system and additional loading docks that allow tenants to more easily access their space.

The building’s exterior includes renovated roadways, parking, ample lighting and updated landscaping.

“The building’s location near major area thoroughfares was a key factor in the tenant’s decision, enabling the company to efficiently service New England, Westchester County, and upstate New York,” said Kristin Hanson, an investment manager of The Hampshire Companies.
