NEW YORK—The Kaufman Organization has recently closed severaltransactions throughout New York City totaling more than 30,000 sq. ft.
Recent transactions include:
• A 10-year, 13,910-sq.-ft. lease for Frank Hirth L.L.C., an accounting firm, which has doubled its space at Wall Street Plaza, located at 88 Pine Street. The company, headquartered in London, will use the Wall Street Plaza space as its U.S. headquarters. Terms of the lease were undisclosed. Michael Kaufman of the Kaufman Organization represented the tenant while Frank Cento of Cushman and Wakefield represented the landlord in the transaction.
Constructed in 1971, Wall Street Plaza is comprised of 32 stories and was designed by I.M. Peil. The building is owned by Orient Overseas Associates.
• A 10-year, 8,500-sq.-ft. lease for Konner Teitelbaum & Gallagher P.C., a law firm with a diversified real estate transaction and foreclosure practice at 462 Seventh Avenue. The terms of the lease were undisclosed. Steven J. Kaufman and Barbara Raskob of Kaufman Organization represented the landlord and Grant Greenspan represented the tenant in the transaction. Konner Teitelbaum & Gallagher has been a tenant in the building for 10 years.
Built in 1925, 462 Seventh Avenue is comprised of 23 stories and is located in the Garment District. Totaling 185,000 sq. ft., theoffers 24/7 access and a shared entrance with 470 Seventh Avenue.
• An eight-year, 7,986-sq.-ft. renewal and expansion lease for theReal Estate Institute, which provides in-class and online real estate classes, at 132 West 36th Street. Terms of the lease were not disclosed. Steven J. Kaufman and Barbara Raskob of Kaufman Organization represented the landlord and tenant in the transaction.
Comprised of 12 stories, 132 West 36th Street was built in 1922 and totals 190,050 sq. ft. of space.
