Outbrain Takes 25,000 Sq. Ft. on West 13th

NEW YORK—Outbrain, a content discovery platform, has leased 25,000 sq. ft. at 39 West 13th Street in New York City, which it will use as its headquarters space. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Eric Zemachson and Scott Brown represented the tenant in the transaction.

Outbrain previously occupied 6,500 sq. ft. at 116 E. 16th Street before converting a 10,000-sq.-ft. sublease and signing a direct lease with the landlord for the total of 25,000 sq. ft.

The space at 39 West 13th Street includes a café, exposed 16-ft. ceilings and natural light. Thomas Jensen of JIDK designed the space for Outbrain, which includes a Sofia Maldonado-commissioned mural.
