Pierless Fish Takes 9,000 Sq. Ft. at Meat Market

NEW YORK—Pierless Fish has signed a long-term, 9,000-sq.-ft. lease at 5600 1st Avenue in the Brooklyn Wholesale meat Market in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn.

Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates Inc. (KDA) has arranged the deal with Robert Klein, a senior broker, representing the tenant. Dean Bodnar, senior vice president for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC), represented the City.

Pierless Fish was a long-time tenant in the Brooklyn Navy Yard and was in the market for a new location. The company settled at its new 5600 1st Avenue, which offers refrigerated space at the Brooklyn Wholesale Meat Market. The facility is operated by EDC, acting as lease administrator for the Department of Small Business Services.

5600 1st Avenue is located near the Belt Parkway/Gowanus Expressway and is in close proximity to the R subway line.
