RFR Signs Gallery, Retail Leases at 980 Madison Ave.

NEW YORK CITY—Manhattan owner/developer RFR recently signed several new art gallery leases at its 980 Madison Avenue property on the Upper East Side.

RFR developed a dedicated art gallery floor at 980 Madison. The firm completely renovated and repositioned its 23,000-sq.-ft. third floor for occupancy by a group of high-end art galleries. The art gallery floor leases are as follows:

*Yoshii Gallery—Currently a 3rd floor tenant, Yoshii Gallery is renewing and building a new gallery on the 3rd floor. The new gallery is under construction and Yoshii Gallery is expected to relocate and open March 2012.

*Higher Pictures—A new tenant, Higher Pictures is relocating to the 3rd floor from their existing Madison Avenue gallery. The new gallery is under construction and expected to open March 2012.

*Adam Lindenman—Another new tenant, Adam Lindenman will be designing and building a gallery on the 3rd floor. The gallery will showcase a variety of artists. The gallery is under construction and expected to open Spring 2012.
