Howard Rosen and Lee Cannon Join Lee & Associates
NEW YORK CITY— Lee & Associates NYC has hired Howard Rosen and John Cannon. The two brokers, formerly of Grubb & Ellis NY, are members of the President’s Council and repeat recipients of G&E Circle of Excellence Awards.
Rosen and Cannon join Lee NYC as Vice Chairmen. Together, they represent more than five million sq. ft. of office space and a list of specializations that include: lease negotiations, strategic planning, and complex deal structuring for the financial services, media/publishing, technology, legal, retail, healthcare, and government sectors.
At the time of his leaving Grubb & Ellis, where he spent a total of 25 years, Rosen was regional managing director for the firm’s Midtown Manhattan office. Cannon, who had been at G&E for 10 years, was executive managing director. Both Rosen and Cannon will be vice chairmen of Lee and will spearhead the office leasing program at Lee NYC.
Rosen and Cannon have been partners since 1997, when they were both principals at RAK Group, LLC. Both are currently members of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Plaza Committee and Building Agents Committee
On November 1, Sierra Realty Corp., one of New York City’s full-service brokerage firms, partnered with Lee & Associates to become Lee & Associates NYC LLC. With this union, the firm joined a national roster of 700 brokers throughout the U.S. including offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Dallas/Fort Worth and Atlanta.
