Teavana Secures First Manhattan Location on Lexington Ave.

NEW YORK—Teavana, an Atlanta-based loose-leaf tea and tea ware retailer, has opened its first Manhattan location at 1291 Lexington Avenue, located between 86th and 87th Streets. RKF is the exclusive retail leasing representative in New York City for the company.

RKF Executive Vice President Ariel Schuster, Senior Director Greg Covey and Associate Justin Fantasia arranged the retail lease on behalf of Teavana, while Director Jackie Totolo, also of RKF, represented ownership, The MP 1291 Trust.

The property offers 41 ft. of frontage and is located in close proximity to public transportation.

Established in 1997, Teavana is a specialty retailer offering more than 100 varieties of premium loose-leaf teas, artisanal tea wares and other tea-related merchandise through its website and in more than 269 company-owned stores in the U.S. and Canada.
