Washington Heights Multifamily Sells for $2.0M

NEW YORKA walk-up apartment building in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan has sold for $2 million. The 1900s property consists of five stories and includes 20 units totaling approximately 17,450 sq. ft.

Josh Orlander, of GFI Realty Services, Inc. represented both the buyer and seller in this transaction.

“The 20 unit walk-up traded at $100,000 per door, which is an aggressive number for a Washington Heights walk-up,” said Orlander. “The property, which has undergone numerous renovations and has low average rents, represented a great investment opportunity for the buyer.”

The multifamily building is located in close proximity to Yeshiva University, the George Washington Bridge, the Harlem River Drive and the 1 and A subway lines.
