ZAGG Enters NYC Market with Empire State Location

NEW YORKSalt Lake City, Utah-based mobile device accessories and technology company ZAGG Inc. has leased space in the lobby of the Empire State Building for its first New York City store.

Michael Kadosh of CBRE represented ZAGG in the lease negotiations, while the company’s Andrew Goldberg and Matt Chmielecki represented the landlord. Attorneys involved in the transaction include Joseph Cohen of Weber Law for the tenant and David Bleckner of David J. Bleckner PC for the landlord.

Owned by W&H Properties and supervised by Malkin Holdings, the Empire State Building has undergone more than $550 million in energy-efficiency upgrades, including infrastructure upgrades, lobby and public area upgrades. The property has earned Energy Star designation and also earned LEED-EB Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
