Jones Lang LaSalle renews alliance with Whirpool

Whirpool Corp. has selected Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle to provide property management services for 8 million sq. ft. of new distribution centers worldwide and facilities management services for 1.1 million sq. ft. of additional properties in North America, including Whirpool’s world headquarters in Benton Harbor, Mich. Whirpool also renewed its alliance with Jones Lang LaSalle for worldwide transaction services.

According to Carl Nedderman, director of corporate real estate for Whirpool, the partnership allows the home appliance manufacturer to accelerate the rollout of its logistics initiatives and reduce costs. "Jones Lang LaSalle was selected for their ability to offer consistent integrated services," Nedderman said in a statement.

he design and construction of the new distribution centers in the United States and Mexico will be led by Jones Lang LaSalle vice president Scott Boer, while senior vice president Ken Koupal will lead the facilities management services for Whirpool’s 12 properties in the Twin Cities area.
