Brody Co., Inc. and Zimmer Development Co. will develop Mayfaire Town Center, a $200 million, 400-acre, mixed-use project in Wilmington, N.C.

Ernst & Young appointed Howard Roth as global and Americas director of real estate. Roth has 30 years of experience in real estate. Previously, he served as head of the Northeast real estate practice with the firm.

Stoneridge Centre Partners opened Stoneridge Towne Centre, a 55-acre, 600,000-sq.-ft. shopping center in Moreno Valley, Calif.

Ives, Schier & Lesser Architecture Studio hired Lawrence Lam. Lam has more than 25 years of experience in architecture. Prior to joining Ives, Schier & Lesser, he worked at Parette Somjen Architects, LLC.

Dolphin Ventures will develop the Outlets at Corpus Christi Bay, a 350,000-sq.-ft. outlet center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Construction will start in the fall of 2008, with completion scheduled for the fall of 2009.

CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. appointed Howard Grody as senior vice president of leasing. Grody has been with the firm for 17 years. He assumed the role of interim head of leasing upon the March 31 retirement of Eric P. Snyder.

Northern Nevada Urban Development Co. has appointed Callison as the lead designer for a downtown mixed-use development project in Reno, Nev. The project includes retail, entertainment, hospitality, residential and office space.

Regency Centers Corp. broke ground on the redevelopment of Brea Marketplace in Brea, Calif. The property contains 351,982 sq. ft. of retail space.

The DESCO Group opened the Plaza at Island Pass, a $55 million, 252,620-sq.-ft. shopping center in Fort Myers, Fla.

DZD Holdings broke ground on Palmetto Gardens Plaza, a 107,000-sq.-ft. shopping center in Miami Gardens, Fla.

ICSC appointed James E. Matanky as co-chair of the Illinois State Alliance for the 2008-2009 term. Matanky works for Matanky Realty Group.

Regency Centers Corp. will complete Lorton Station Town Center, a mixed-use project in Lorton, Va. The center will contain 55,000 sq. ft. of retail and 38,000 sq. ft. of offices.

ICSC appointed John M. Crossman to the board of the ICSC Foundation for a three-year term from 2008 to 2011. Crossman serves as president of Crossman & Co.

Hopkins Commercial Real Estate, Inc. will develop a two-acre retail site in Dallas. Washington Mutual committed to a 4,500-sq.-ft. lease at the site. Opening is scheduled for the fall of 2008.

Baha Mar Resorts Ltd. appointed Richard G. English as senior vice president of sales and marketing. English has been with the firm since 2007. Prior to that, he served as managing director of asset management for the Middle East/Africa with Wyndham Worldwide.

CB Richard Ellis hired Carol Schillne as first vice president in its Anaheim office. Schillne has 20 years of experience in retail leasing. Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, she served as senior vice president with Staubach Retail. In the past, she also worked as first vice president with CB Richard Ellis.

ING Real Estate appointed Wilson Lee as European managing director and portfolio manager. Lee has more than 24 years of real estate experience. Prior to joining ING Real Estate, he served as managing director and head of real estate finance for EMEA and Asia Pacific at UBS Investment Bank.

Buchanan Street Partners hired Wayne Brandt as managing director of its Los Angeles office. Prior to joining Buchanan Street Partners, Brandt served as managing director and head of the West Coast real estate finance group with RBS Greenwich Capital. He has 24 years of experience in commercial real estate.
