Stirling Properties and CBL & Associates Properties Inc. formed a 35/65 joint venture to develop Fremaux Town Center, a 595,000-sq.-ft. town center in Slidell, La.
Phase I of the property will comprise approximately 295,000 sq. ft., while Phase II will contain 300,000 sq. ft. Stirling and CBL plan to start construction on the project in March, with grand opening scheduled for the second quarter of 2014.
Phase I of Fremaux Town Center I is currently more than 70 percent pre-leased to tenants including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels, Kohl’s, PetSmart, TJ Maxx, LongHorn Steakhouse, Ulta Beauty, Lan Bryant, Rack Room Shoes, Best Buy and Versona Accessories.
NAI Everest Adds Property Management to its Service Line
NAI Everest added property management to its services and hired Angie Richter as a real estate manager. Richter has 12 years of experience in commercial property management. Over the course of her career, she has managed more than 1.5 million sq. ft. of industrial, office and retail space.

Cabela’s to Open Store at Greenville’s Magnolia Park
Cabela’s Inc. signed a lease with Menin Development for a 100,000-sq.-ft. store at Magnolia Park, a mixed-use project being developed in Greenville, S.C. The retailer plans to opens the store in the spring of 2014.
Tractor Supply Signs Lease at Brixmor’s Pennsylvania Center
Tractor Supply Company signed a 37,780-sq.-ft. lease with Brixmor Property Group for a store at Dillsburg Shopping Center in Dillsburg, Pa.
Dave Hanby, of Keith Corp., represented Tractor Supply in the transaction. Marc Newman and Linda Berger represented Brixmor in-house.
