The 532,000 sq. ft. Michelson building in Orange County, Calif. has a new manager. The New York-based Emmes Group of Cos., a privately owned real estate investment firm, has named Lisa Nugent property manager for the 19-story tower.
Emmes acquired the building in June. Its offices offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, San Gabriel Mountains and Orange County skyline.
Nugent, formerly an assistant manager of the property, will manage day-to-day operations of the building.
“Lisa's extensive knowledge of the property, combined with her focus on high-end service through strong tenant relationships made her a natural choice to manage The Michelson,” said Richard A.C. Coles, co-managing principal at Emmes. “Lisa will play an integral role in establishing this building as one of the most service-oriented office properties in the County.”
As property manager, Nugent will respond to tenant needs, construction management for tenant improvement and oversee the property’s security, janitorial and engineering teams. She will also implement programs to improve the property’s service profile.
