DEVELOPER: Newcastle Partners Inc. and RREEF Alternative Investments
LOCATION: Long Beach, Calif.
SIZE: Four million sq. ft. of commercial, office, industrial, retail, and hotels and 9.9 acres of park land.
BUZZ: The $350 million project will be developed in two phases. The Class-A buildings are seeking certification through the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. The development will be pedestrian-friendly, include parks and outdoor plaza areas and is expected to generate approximately 2,100 jobs.
