IDI plans 1.3 million sq. ft. Atlanta industrial park

Atlanta-based IDI Eastern Region has acquired 95 acres in the west Atlanta submarket for the development of CampCreek Distribution Center, a 1.3 million sq. ft. industrial park. The price was undisclosed.

Four buildings ranging from 225,000 sq. ft. to 360,000 sq. ft. are planned for the site, which IDI purchased from Cobb-Douglas Investors LP.

According to IDI officials, construction will begin on the CampCreek project when the final building at its nearby Westfork Distribution Center — a 4 million sq. ft. development in the I-20 West submarket — is 50% leased.
